An update and messing around with the 35mm...

Just a quick update on the garage.
Ryan set up the in-floor heating tubing last Thursday because they were scheduled to pour the slab last Friday.
The pour went great. They did part of the driveway and the whole inside of the shop.
Framing started on Sunday and they've been working on it for the last few days.
Getting closer!

Also, I got my 35mm f/1.8 in the mail today so the last 5 photos are from my first time using it this afternoon. Just playing, nothing special. :)

Random :)

This is a good indicator of how things are right now around the Smith household.

My handsome husband working hard... :)

What a huge project you guys are working on! Wow! I am so impressed! We put in a new driveway a few years ago and your project puts ours to shame!

Your photos of the little details are great! Have fun with your new lens!

Why in the world has it taken me so long to find your blog?! I'm so sorry!!! Thank you for your sweet words yesterday. They meant a lot to me. :)

I love your pictures!!! I remember working on our house and having it look like a construction site all of the time. It's worth it in the end though!!!

I'm jealous of your 35mm but I hope you enjoy it. So glad you changed your captcha requirement.

That's quite a project! But why do you have in-floor heating in the garage? (I hope that's not a silly question...)

Thanks for replying! Ok, that makes sense. In snowy places (Scandinavia, I suppose) I know they have heating in the driveway to melt away the snow!
