Oh sleep, why must you be so elusive...?

So last night Ryan and I went and rescued a friend of ours who crashed his car. We drove about 1.5 hours to where he was, loaded his car on a trailer and went home. Our friend is ok, which we're very happy about. His car on the other hand is not. He was on a dirt forest service road and had to swerve for a deer. The combo of summer tires, ABS and gravel sent him sideways, into a tree and almost over a cliff. Yay for NOT going over the cliff. He had to call and have the DNR pull him out and once he was out he had to drive his wrecked car about 10 miles down the dirt road to the main road where he actually could get cell phone reception.
I didn't get home till 11:45pm. As I was getting ready for bed, Torkie decided he needed to go outside and go to the bathroom. I was NOT thrilled walking him at midnight. Sigh.
So I'm tired today. I don't do well with tired. I am glad we were able to help him though.


I am also going to the doctor today. For the last week I've noticed a weird dent on my right shin. It doesn't hurt at all and isn't bruised. I know it didn't get there from me hitting it on something and yesterday I made sure that I don't sit a certain way that would cause it to dent. It was a lot more noticeable yesterday and started freaking me out so I made an appointment. It seemed to be better looking by yesterday evening, but I'm still worried. Hopefully the doc will know what's going on or at least tell me it's nothing. It is weird looking though so I hope it goes away. :(

1. Crisp winter mornings.

I love when you wake up and it's blue skies and frosty air. Those are my faves.

2. Hugging my husband.

I can't get enough of him. Hugging him just feels so good and right.

1. What is your natural hair color?
Light brown. I haven't had it natural in a while though. I tend to play with my hair color a lot.

2. Which do you prefer, sunrises or sunsets?
Sunsets. When the sun comes up I'm usually in a hurry for work so I don't get to enjoy it.

3. What is the first thing you notice about people?
Their personality. How they come off to people. I try not to make snap judgements, but sometimes you can tell if someone is rude or full of themselves right away. I also notice shoes, I can't help it. It's a weird habit. Lol.

4. Do you prefer talking or texting on your cell phone?
I prefer talking. Texting annoys me. I only do it when I have to.

5. What size of shoes do you wear?
7 to 7.5 in heels 7.5 to 8 in other shoes.

Top 2 Favorite perfumes/colognes/scents

1. Hanae Mori
Love love love this perfume. I've been using it forever. I don't know anyone else who uses it which is kinda cool. It has a spicy vanilla scent. Yum.

2. Escada Sunset Heat (Or any Escada for that matter).
They come out with a new one every year. They're all similar and great but with different hints of fragrance. This one has a very pineapple smell to it. I love it. Tropical and fun.
