So after we left Kings Canyon/Sequoia
NP's, we made our way towards the Grand Canyon. We spent a
ridiculously hot night in
Barstow, CA camping at a
KOA. It was 110° at 9:00 at night! Way to hot. We got up really early to beat the heat and headed on our way. We hit a thunder storm on the way after we got into AZ which was a nice change, so we decided to stay in a hotel for the night in Williams, AZ. I didn't know this, but Williams is on Route 66, so that was pretty awesome. We went over to the Grand Canyon after we got checked into our ghetto hotel room. It was pretty old but it did the job. We took some pics then headed back to town to eat dinner and go to bed. We woke up the next day and headed back to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and took some pics and after that we started up towards the North Rim(which wasn't nearly as cool as the South Rim.).
